Georgetown Wooden Boat Show

The Georgetown Wooden Boat Show will be celebrating another year on the beautiful South Carolina coast. Front Street is where the event will be held, immersing attendees in historic, downtown Georgetown. 
     Special events will take place on both days. FREE ADMISSION is offered for the ENTIRE SHOW!
     On Saturday, a "Wooden Boat Challenge" will be held where challengers will make and test their own wooden boat on the Sampit River. Sunday will offer a wooden boat exhibit from 11:00AM to 4:00PM, showing boats from small to yacht-size. A "Cardboard Boat Regatta" will be held, and participants will be challenged to build a boat solely out of cardboard. There will be two music stages from 12:00PM to 4:00PM on both days, as well as a food court and beer garden. As always, Georgetown will have its array of shops and restaurants offering their local cuisine. Come enjoy!
